Fall in Virginia

We spent some time in Virginia this last weekend attending a marriage conference (post on that coming soon) while my parents watched our girls!  Before we went over to the conference on Friday, we took a little walk at the park and enjoyed the gorgeous fall weather!

Vera really loves playgrounds now (especially slides and swings)!

 

Cordelia was so happy to be outside in the sunshine!

We don’t have a lot of fall colors down our way yet, so it was glorious to see all the orange, red, and yellow leaves in VA!

Pumpkin Patch Pretties

We took our girls to the pumpkin patch over the weekend.  The patch had the prettiest pumpkins!

Vera had such a great time running around and touching all the pumpkins.

The weather was lovely, so we enjoyed being outside!

Cordelia was happy as well and tasted a bit of grass (hehe).

I think she fit in quite well with the round pumpkins!

Vera ended up choosing a small pumpkin to take home. 

I had a terrible time deciding what pumpkin I wanted!  I ended up with two squatty ones (white and soft green).

I love making special memories like this!

They really do love each other!

One of the Blessings

One of the blessings of Tad’s ministry position/job is that we get to be a part of so much of it!  Yesterday was a gorgeous day, so we all went with Tad to a soccer game for one of the kids from church. 

 I feel like it’s rare for me to get a good picture with just Vera, but I love how this one turned out.

 Vera had a blast running around outside.

 She didn’t like getting dirty, but that’s pretty normal for her.

 Those curls. Those eyes. I could eat her up!

 It was so sunny that Tad had to borrow my shades!

 We were cheering for #14.

 We hung out with some sweet friends during the second half.

Thankful for the opportunities God has given us to minister at our church right now!

P.S. Cordelia was napping in her stroller during the game, and I didn’t take any pictures of her!
