Freezer Cooking Day (March): My Master Plan

March 1, 2010 by Aliesha

I know everyone else has been doing their freezer cooking today, but I just decided today that I’m up for the challenge! I just did my shopping, and I have a plan for tomorrow! Here’s everything I bought today.
I have a lot of ingredients on hand already, but I didn’t photograph them.

Here’s my (albeit ambitious) plan for tomorrow.

Italian Meatloaf x 2 (4 meals)
Italian Meatballs (using meatloaf recipe… not sure yet how many meals)
Taco Meat x 2 (4 meals)
Hamburger Patties (5 meals)
Crock Pot Italian Chicken x 2 (4 meals)
Spaghetti Sauce x 3 (lots of meals… not sure yet how many)
Oven Fries (I’ll bag these up in meal-sized portions… but I don’t know how many bags that will be)
Whole Wheat Pizza Crust Dry Mix x 3 (3 meals)
Angel Rolls Dry Mix (makes a ton of rolls… maybe 40?)
Garlic Soft Pretzels Dry Mix x 3 (makes 18 pretzels)

I’ve planned everything out just like Money Saving Mom recommends. I think tomorrow will be a learning experience, but I hope it is productive as well!

I’m putting a roast (Coffee Roast… I need to post the recipe) in the crock pot first thing so I won’t have to worry about making dinner at the end of the day. I’m still deciding what to do for lunch.

I’ll keep you all updated on how everything goes!

Off to clean up the house a little bit…
