History Repeats Itself

March 21, 2013 by Aliesha

Last night while I was straightening up the girls’ room, I realized that Cordelia (usually my little shadow) was awfully quiet!  I walked into the breakfast nook and found her chowing down on a box of Jelly Belly jelly beans!  She’d been playing with the sealed-in-plastic box as a “rattle” and I didn’t realize she would be able to open it!  (Note: she never has candy, let alone something with artificial dye!)  But of course I had to run grab my camera to commemorate the occasion.

Because…

…history has a way of repeating itself!

The above photo was taken when I was about 11 months old (and of course had never had candy before either).  My mom found me stealthily raiding my dad’s Easter basket and devouring his jelly beans!

We all had a good laugh about the family resemblance!
