My Husband the Chef

December 18, 2009 by Aliesha

My dear husband made steaks for dinner tonight! This was his first attempt in recent years (i.e. post-college) to cook steaks, and they turned out so well! He followed a straight-forward Alton Brown recipe involving a kosher salt, black pepper, and a cast-iron skillet. It’s incredibly fast and easy!

Love getting to cook with my hubby. 🙂

Mom made us an adorable little bird hanging decoration for Christmas. Here it is, looking at our tree.We are so excited to be spending our first Christmas together.

Handling Disappointment…by Trusting God

December 13, 2009 by Aliesha

We are trusting God’s leading and timing in our housing situation, and we are looking to Him when we feel discouraged!
