Youth Cookout

May 3, 2010 by Aliesha

This weekend we hosted the youth for a cookout! I was running around a lot and didn’t take any pictures, so these are all from Andrea!
Tad made all the burgers using his brand new Weber grill he bought with birthday money he’d been saving. The burgers were fantastic!!
We had about 20 people show up over the course of the evening, which was awesome.
After eating dinner, we played games like Capture the Flag, Hide & Seek, Ghosts in the Graveyard, and Cranium.
We enjoyed using our big front porch for this event!
Andrea‘s sweet baby Owen, sleeping on our porch.

We had a great time! Thanks again, Andrea, for taking these pics!

I am a follower of your blog, and have been for the past few months. Your pics are great. Can you tell me where I can find the orange baby diaper in the last pic please?

    Thank you,

    Adrianne

    Adrianne,

The baby pictured belongs to my friend πŸ™‚ but I think the diaper he is wearing is a Thirsties Duo Wrap available here: http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?products_id=2074.

Hope it helps! Thanks for reading!

That one is actually the Thirsties Duo Diaper, its similar to the duo wrap. Only differences is that it has a pocket instead of just being a cover. I own both and both of them are great diapers! I actually prefer them over the popular Bum Genius for a few reasons…

    1) The insert comes out on its own,w here the bum genius you have to pull out before washing.

    2) they come in two sizes… which is nicer for smaller babies.

Because its two sized you do need to buy more diapers tho.

We enjoyed the cookout Aliesha! you have a great home to entertain with.

Looks like fun! If you had the same weather we had over the weekend, it was PERFECT for a cookout!

Hey Aliesha, can I get your new address. I was about to mail something to you but thought wait this may take a lot longer if it has to be forwarded.

Looks like you had a great evening! We’re freezing up here in Canada though. Yesterday morning it snowed….
