Week Thirty-Seven

August 10, 2015 by Aliesha

Week-37

So this week I feel about 41 weeks pregnant!  I’ve been a little bit of a whiner about all of the end-of-pregnancy symptoms I’ve been experiencing, particularly exhaustion!  I feel so “heavy,” like the baby is down really low, but I don’t think he or she is yet.   If anything, I’m carrying higher at this point than I was with Jude (see this photo).

Still, I’m thankful to have a healthy baby growing inside of me, and I’m trying to pursue joy in these last several weeks to come.  I would be so happy if this baby came early (you know, by 40 weeks!), but I’m trying to emotionally prepare myself to go two weeks past due again.

Hoping I can get some better rest the next few weeks so I’ll be well-rested when Baby Apricot comes!

Enjoying all the sweet little kicks and movements.  It’s especially fun to watch the girls’ faces when they feel a big kick!

We’ve officially bought everything we need for baby, so we’re ready.

These weeks are probably flying by for you as you read my updates, but pray for me as they feel like they are dragggggging!  🙂

I have prayed for strength and peace for you. I can only imagine how time is crawling because I never made it past 37 or 38 weeks with each of my 4 children (due to my water breaking). I know God will sustain you, but I know He doesn’t promise that His ways or timing are easy, even though they are the best. Hugs to you, and I wish you lived just down the road so I could bring you a meal or two after your baby comes!
