Weeks Thirty/Thirty-One

July 1, 2013 by Aliesha

I had an appointment with my midwife last week and everything looks great!  I was a little surprised by my weight gain since my last appointment, but it’s normal for me to put on a good bit during the “home stretch.”  My midwife didn’t seem concerned.

Baby Punkin’ is head-down, so we praise God for that!  He continues to be active and his heartbeat is in the 130’s-140’s.

The humidity has really been sapping me of energy lately!  I can take the heat, but this humidity is exhausting!  I am thankful for the rest I am able to get each afternoon.  And AC!  I am very thankful for AC!  So far I’ve avoided any swelling in my feet/ankles, and I am very thankful for that.  At this point in Vera’s pregnancy (also during the summer), my feet looked like balloons!

We appreciate your prayers!
