Youth Room Re-do

November 12, 2012 by Aliesha

A few weeks ago, we (Tad, me, & the youth at church) repainted the youth room.

It was looking pretty rough before we started, and we had a great time working on it!

We painted the walls dark maroon and the trim jet black.

We painted the wall around the bulletin board with chalkboard paint and have been busy writing Bible verses, song lyrics, and quotes all over it.

We got a new lamp and we strung Christmas lights around the chalkboard wall.  We covered the bulletin board with photos from the last three years!

We also now have a coffee station, which has been popular.

We spray painted the old metal folding chairs with oil rubbed bronze paint and they look pretty awesome (we still have a few left to paint).

The youth love how the room turned out!
