West End Baby Shower

July 14, 2010 by Aliesha

This past Sunday our church family threw a baby shower for us! They blessed us with so many wonderful gifts, and we are very grateful! Andrea took all of these beautiful pictures (thank you!), so enjoy her artistic handiwork. My mom came down this weekend and was at the shower, which was really special. We are really feeling ready for our baby girl now!
I’m hoping to take and post pictures of our nursery really soon, since it’s almost ready!

That pillow is so cute!!! Can’t wait to see more of the baby gifts and goodies. Your shower desserts also look fantastic!

You look beautiful! I have a question…where have you gotten your adorable maternity clothes? Thanks!

    Kelly,
Most of my maternity clothes have been loaned to me by friends! I have honestly bought very little. I’ve also worn quite a few tops/dresses that aren’t maternity but just have a bit more gathering/fullness so they fit over my belly! The dress I wore at my shower is a maternity dress that my mother-in-law gave me.
    Hope it helps!

Thanks so much, Aliesha! You always look so cute! For my first pregnancy I bought a few shirts from Ross and used a belly band for my skirts. Most of the stuff I bought from Ross are faded and worn this time around as are my skirts. I’m just trying to find some cute maternity clothes that I don’t have to spend an arm and leg on. That’s fabulous that you could borrow clothes! I was loaned a lot too, but they were from bigger framed girls. 🙂 Thanks again!

Your baby girl’s nursery will be perfect…just in time of her arrival. What an exciting time! Your mom (future grandmother) beams in all these pictures too.
