March 30, 2010 by Aliesha

We are getting unpacked and settled into our new home! I feel like the kitchen is getting close to being in order, so I can start thinking about cooking again! My family is coming to spend Easter weekend with us, so we are very much looking forward to that. They are bringing a lot of food with them, which is quite a blessing!!

Saturday
Lunch: chicken salad, croissants, Italian pasta salad, veggie platter, fresh fruit
Dinner: ham, fried potatoes, Caesar coleslaw, mixed veggies

Sunday (Easter)

I’m making a lot of different recipes this week (some new, some old) that I haven’t posted about before. I’ll try to take lots of pictures of what I make so I can post the recipes next week sometime! A lot of these are family favorites, so I’d love to share them with you!

What are you making for Easter dinner?

Hi Aliesha! Glad to hear you’re settling into your new abode. I’ve made that oreo recipe that you posted (except the recipe I found had you dip the whole thing in white chocolate -what’s a few more calories :-)) before and you’re right…they’re delicious! Well, for Easter, we are spending it with our families who are doing the main portions of the meal. I’m just bringing 5 Fruit Salad, my famous Sweet Potato Pudding (the only thing my family requests all the time), and a Pineapple Cheeseball for dessert. I may also try a crescent roll bar recipe…not sure! Hope you have a great Easter!
