Last weekend when we were at Walmart, we saw a family giving away free lab/golden retriever mix puppies in the parking lot! (They looked similar to…more yellow than…the one above.) I got to hold one for a few minutes and he was so soft and squirmy! Tad took a picture with his phone, but it didn’t turn out great. It was very tempting to adopt one and bring it home right then!
Could you have resisted?
No!!! I couldn’t have. Wiskey would have been rather shocked to discover whose food bowl was suddenly next to his!! (And maybe it would make him a humbler putty!) He would definitely get more exercise being chased around the house by an adorable puppy! Well, what are we waiting for?!
So cute. I def think it be better to wait tho…. just my opinion 🙂 dogs cost a lot… any pet does… and honestly if i could get rid of all our pets I would. Kids are enough responsibility LOL as well as a husband and house.
I would have resisted 🙂 I’m not a pet lover to begin with, and I just don’t think newborns and pets mix well. Once your kids are older, and can play with a pet, then I think it’s great (just not for me 🙂 ).
