Farm Tour & Tire Swinging

November 19, 2013 by Aliesha

This past weekend we got to tour a farm in Virginia during an “open house” day!  The girls loved seeing all the animals and enjoying many other fun new experiences.

The upstairs of the barn was set up for a documentary viewing.

Vera got to milk a “cow”!

Cordelia had a turn as well.

The farm is beautiful, with so many lovely touches.

One of the girls’ favorite parts was a giant tire swing!

While they swung on the tire swing, Jude and I had a nursing break on the porch.

It was so peaceful!

The weather was nice and the foliage was gorgeous!

We took a quick peek inside their farmhouse, where it was beautifully decorated for the season.

The girls liked trying out the chairs on the porch.

We enjoyed delicious Brunswick Stew for lunch!

I am thankful we were able to enjoy this special time as a family!
