Week Twenty-Four

April 16, 2010 by Aliesha

Here we are at week 24! It’s amazing how quickly things are speeding along. Click here to compare with last week’s photo. I think that I am carrying really high! (As in… I can still wear my low-rise skinny jeans buttoned, though they are getting tight.)

I don’t really have a lot to say that is new… things are going well and we are enjoying doing more towards the birth. I’ve been reading a parenting book (I’ll post a review when I’m finished), working on baby registries, and making more things for the nursery. She’ll be here in less than 4 months!

We haven’t decided officially on a name yet, but even once we do we’re going to wait to share it until she is born.

I still haven’t been sleeping very well at night; it takes me forever to fall asleep. I think I’m still adjusting to the new house, and some nights baby’s kicking keeps me awake for a bit (in a happy, I’m-glad-I-can-feel-her way). I’ve still been experiencing some lower back pain and ligament cramping, but I know this is because my belly is growing so much right now!

I read that by the end of the sixth month (I’m at the beginning), our baby will have doubled in weight! I find I’m hungry more often than I used to be.

Thank you for praying for us and for our baby girl!

so much fun!!! And it’s fun to see the little baby belly:)

I remember having a TON of ligament and back pain with my 1st baby…. but now with #4 the back pain is much less but the ligament pain is still there!!

Hope you get the rest you need;)

u look so cute πŸ™‚ in 10 more weeks ill do maternity portraits for u πŸ˜‰ hehe then we can compare that pic with this 24 week pic hehe. You def. look pregnant now! Its so adorable.

I can see not sleeping well with all the changes… new house prob has more to do with it than baby right now… but those night time kicks can be very hard to sleep through some times…

Maybe it will get better in a week or two after u get use to the house more. Try not to eat many sweets at night, I did notice if I ate sweets or drank juices that Owen was more active at night.
