Dollar Tree Bargains

May 20, 2010 by Aliesha

Thought I would share a few of my Dollar Tree finds this week! Most of it is normal, everyday stuff, but we enjoyed the great deals!

– two boxes of all-occasion cards (birthday, thank you, thinking of you, blank) with 10 cards each (just $.10 a card!)
– bamboo stakes for the peas in my garden
– travel set (four empty containers and a loofah) for my husband to use when we travel
– shampoo and body wash for my husband
– zip top bags in gallon, quart, and sandwich sizes
– Father’s Day cards ($.50 each)
– 30 sheets of brightly colored tissue paper (I like to keep gift-wrapping supplies on hand…more about that here)
– shoe-shining kit so I can shine my husband’s church shoes
– a blue and white ringer tee for my husband (had a tag on it from another store that said $10)
– supplies to make a floral headband… pics of the project here
– a great tote bag (I’m going to use it for library books!)What have you found for just $1 recently?

    WOW!
It’s sort of like this translation, “She is like the merchant ships, bringing great deals from the dollar store from afar in Greenville.”
Way to go!! I especially love the tote!! Maybe you can pick one up for me if they still have any the next time you are there!

    Mom,
I’ll pick up a tote for you next time I’m there! They had blue, lime green, and bright pink. Do you have a color preference?
    Love you!

I love Dollar Tree! I recently bought a lot of supplies for my daughter’s first birthday at Dollar Tree. I haven’t gotten around to posting about that yet.

I really like you tote! I’ll have to check out our DT and see if they have them! I’m always looking for new diaper bag options or even just to tote toys in!

I like the idea of keeping a box of all-occasion cards on hand! Smart idea, especially since I would never, ever pay 3.99 for a piece of folded cardboard.
Did you ever see the site “Dollar Store Crafts”? There are a lot of cute ideas on there!

I love the dollar store! There are other stores that feature dollar items, and I sometimes will frequent those too. I was able to buy all of my supplies sans diapers for diaper cake towers that I make. There were the cutest squeeze rubber duckies, frogs, rattles, giant bag of rubber bands, and terry cloth bibs, burpies, accessories, and ribbon.

I also snagged an entire red Betty Crocker baking set from the Dollar Tree- items included spatula, strainer, cookware.

The same Dollar Store had awesome placemats with a coffe cup design that are super nice, and sturdy!!!

I love it, really no need to shop anywhere else for most stuff…

    Great tote btw!
