As we mentioned way back when we were starting to look at baby names, meaning has always been very important to us! We wanted to share with you why we chose Vera Evangeline for our baby girl.
Vera – Latin, “truth”
Evangeline – Greek, “bearer of the Good News”
It is our prayer that Vera Evangeline will be a woman of truth and character, and that God would use her to bear His Good News (the Gospel) to others.
Well, I’ve been checking your blog everyday (sometimes twice a day!) for news for weeks now, and then I’m away for two days, and you go and have the baby! 🙂 Ha! LOVE the name Vera Evangeline! How beautiful! Hope you’re well, and look forward to more pics and details soon!

I love the meaning of her name. Makes me think of how God calls her. When She was born, God probably said ” My little angel of truth, go on into this world and bring my good news to the people you meet!”
