Kelly, Angela, and I got together at the park on Friday so our kids could run around for a little bit. We had nine kids between the three of us. 🙂
Kelly brought a bubble machine, and all the kids enjoyed that.
Vera ate so many pretzels! Her mouth was so full at one point that pretzels were actually sticking out.
Cordelia slept in the shade for part of the time!
We had a fun time and I look forward to more times like these this summer!

Vera officially has enough hair to pull it back in a ponytail now! It doesn’t usually stay in very long (she’s not one for bows, headbands, or hair ties in her hair), but it sure is cute while it lasts. If she held still long enough, I could probably braid it.

I think she looks so grown up!
Today our sweet Cordelia Mae turned two months old! Tad said he doesn’t feel like it’s been two months since she was born, but I feel like that was a really long time ago.
We took her to her well-baby visit at the doctor’s today. She is looking great and is very healthy!
Here are some milestones this month:
-weighs 12 lbs., 6 oz.
-measures 24 in. long
-smiles at us
-coos a little bit when we talk to her
-moves her head to follow our voices
-on her tummy, she will raise her head to a 45 degree angle
-has tried to roll over but hasn’t made it yet
-enjoys baths for the most part
-loves to be worn in a baby wrap
-loves her big sister Vera
-sleeps 7.5-8 hours at night, plus several long naps each day
-nurses about 10 times a day
-has used a bottle once and did well (pumped breast milk)
-seems like she has been trying to find her thumb but hasn’t quite figured it out yet
We are so blessed to have such a sweet, happy baby!
